Design

CES’s Account Managers work closely with the Design team to coordinate the most practical, cost-efficient and compliant solution for the electrical installation of your caravan. From the industry-leading mains inlet to 12-pin trailer looms, backbone harnesses, pre-assembled Battery Management System boards and many other solutions, CES can provide a kit that ensures your caravan is wired to the highest standards using the best components available.

Engineering

CES’s team of Electrical Engineers take the information from the Design team drafting loom and harness kits, all drawn with CAD, that will best fit the scope of work. This includes calculating the correct cable sizes to minimise voltage drop and utilising the most suitable components from various supplies to ensure the caravan electrics meet safety standards.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing facilities in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs build your solution with state-of-the-art, custom-engineered machinery. Every cable is measured and cut to meet our engineer’s exact measurements specified for your solution. Pneumatic presses get used to crimp the terminals for the most secure connections we can provide. Finishing the process is our quality assurance checks, using purpose-built testing equipment that digitally checks resistance, continuity and correct cable configuration. We make sure that every loom and harness exceeds industry standards. We can even custom print your wall plates and boards with your logo to keep your van on brand.

Procurement

We carry a vast range of products to complement our systems and complete your solution. If we don’t have what you want, we can source it. Our dispatch crew packs all the parts you need for each van individually, ensuring your installers have everything on hand without your warehousing & inventory team needing to pick individual components, saving you time. Wherever your facility is located, we regularly deliver to all areas of Melbourne; to service those outside our delivery area, we have regular pickups by couriers.

Training

When teaming up with CES, our experts run induction sessions with your installers to ensure they are up to speed and can hit the ground running. However, we don’t stop there. Using our customised software packages, our team can perform regular reviews aiming to identify incorrectly connected systems and advise on installing your solution better. This helps ensure that anything leaving your production line is optimised and ready for its new owner.

Support

With an industry-leading support team based in Melbourne, your customer and dealers can use several ways to get help if things aren’t running right. Starting with our online Help Centre, owners can find guides on everything from plugging in portable solar or swapping to lithium batteries, to adding heaters or how to prepare their car to tow their new van; owners, dealers and repairers can find the help they need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If more help is needed, they can submit a ticket directly from the Help Centre or call us directly for help diagnosing the problem.
